Shakira attacks Piqué and Clara Chía in new BZRP Music Session – Full English Lyrics

We can definitely say that Shakira is in out for blood. The last session of Bizarrap with the Colombian is trending on social media and it is no wonder why: her acid lyrics have left her ex and former Barcelona footballer, Gerard Piqué, in the dust.

Shakira and Piqué, from love to hate

If you are a fervent listener of Shakira, you will have already noticed that the singer usually expresses her experiences through her songs, for good and for bad. Shakira and Piqué began their relationship after the World Cup in South Africa, where the one from Barranquilla gave us one of the most listened-to anthems in the world, the Waka Waka.

After making their relationship public in 2011, Shakira decided to show the world the love she felt for the then Barcelona player with the song Me enamoré, released in 2017. This last one joined the long list of Shakira’s hits and became one of the songs of the summer of that year. After this, the artist released her album El Dorado, which contained another song dedicated to Piqué, Amarillo. Then we had La Bicicleta, another hit that she sang with Carlos Vives. Also, we find references to Loba, an album released in 2009 which achieved great success along with its homonymous single. In another verse she sings “you acted so much like a champion” in reference to his profession as a footballer and then, she reproaches him for giving her “his worst version” when she needed him the most. This last one could refer to Shakira’s father, who was hospitalized due to various health problems. Finally, we have the number 3, which we could see on the former footballer’s jersey number.
