Shakira continues with her musical revenge. After releasing Te felicito with Rauw Alejandro, Monotonía with Ozuna and her Session with Bizarrap, she will release next Friday TQG (Te quedó grande), a new song with Karol G in which the other singer will also throw her own jabs against her ex Anuel AA.
In case it wasn’t clear that women don’t cry anymore, they bill, the launch of the song is going big. Shakira and Karol G have released a small teaser trailer of what will be the music video, and they have done it in Times Square, no less.
On Wednesday, the artists revealed the first official image of the duet, and announced on their social networks that fans would have a very special surprise, but only people who were in New York at the time would be able to see it.
Gathered at 6:45 pm New York time, Shakira and Karol G’s fans gathered in front of the screens in Times Square, where a preview of TQG’s music video was projected. The footage showed the Bichota singer throwing herself from the top of a building. For her part, Shakira dances in her usual way in a blue dress.
Without a doubt, the music video promises to live up to a song that will once again drag Gerard Piqué, the founder of the Kings League, through the mud. We’ll see if he comes out of this one with a Twingo or a Casio. He certainly doesn’t seem to be able to sink any lower.
