Slackbot now adds Salesforce, Tableau charts and DocuSign

Slackbot now reaches deeper into Salesforce. With these new integrations, people can use plain-language prompts inside Slack to get to Salesforce CRM, Tableau, Data 360, Agentforce, and other connected business systems without leaving the app.

Through dedicated MCP servers, Slack users can pull customer and deal history, bring up Tableau charts, update CRM records, summarize conversations, generate Slack canvases, schedule meetings, and kick off DocuSign approval flows. Add connected content from Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive, new Salesforce channels linked to CRM records, and Tableau Next inside Slack, and Slack starts to feel less like a messaging app and more like the place where work gets done. It also cuts down on tab switching.

Salesforce is also leaning on openness while Microsoft Teams and Google Workspace keep adding more assistant features. Teams still leads, with more than 320 million monthly active users, according to Microsoft. Slack, though, also supports third-party assistants from Adobe, Anthropic, Cohere, and Perplexity, and Salesforce says automated summaries have already covered more than 600 million messages, saving about 1.1 million hours.

According to Salesforce, the new Slackbot features are generally available now on Slack Business+ and Enterprise+ plans.
