Snapchat’s redesign has been grabbing the headlines for all the wrong reasons – not least because off-again, on-again fan of the platform Kylie Jenner made her feelings about the changes clear on Twitter.

This probably wasn’t why Snapchat stock bombed $1.3-1.6 billion straight after, but bomb it did. A more credible reason might be the company’s $720 million loss last year.

Another factor could have been the never-profitable company basically telling 1.2 million users who hated the app’s makeover where they could go.

Or perhaps it’s the fact that CEO Evan Spiegel made $638 million last year, over three times Google’s top execs and almost five times Apple’s chief. No wonder many are asking – WTF?
