Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is now on EA Play: you can play it through Game Pass too

Electronic Arts put Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on EA Play on April 25, 2024, which means you can get into Respawn Entertainment’s action-adventure game through the subscription instead of paying full price.

EA Play also comes bundled with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, so the game is now playable through those memberships on Xbox consoles and PC too. That gave Jedi: Survivor a real second wave. It also fits EA’s usual playbook: release a big premium game, then fold it into a subscription lineup about a year later.

The game had already done well before that, topping U.S. sales in April 2023. A lot of that came down to the cinematic story, the lightsaber combat, the exploration, and movement that felt better than it did in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It’s one of the strongest single-player Star Wars games in recent years, and if you passed on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor at launch, now’s a good time to pick it up.

Electronic Arts and Respawn opened it up even further later on, adding PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions on September 17, 2024. A third Star Wars Jedi game still hasn’t been officially announced. Still, with sales this strong and the reception it got, people have every reason to expect more from Cal Kestis.
