This coming Sunday is the Super Bowl, one of the most followed sporting events in the world. American soccer fans are celebrating their most special day, so a multitude of related activities are taking place around this day. Today, Microsoft and Electronic Arts have announced theirs: Madden NFL 23 will arrive on Xbox Game Pass… today, February 9th!

Yes, we’re not pulling a prank or anything like that: players who have access to the subscription service will be able to play the latest edition of the NFL title. Moreover, they will be able to do so through different channels, i.e. both on consoles and PC (in the latter case, via EA Play).

Of course, this game is not the only one arriving during the first two weeks of February. These are all the titles appearing on Xbox Game Pass in the coming weeks, with some like Atomic Heart as spearheads:

  • Madden NFL 23 (Console and PC via EA Play) – February 9.
  • SD Gundam Battle Alliance (Cloud, Console and PC) – February 9.
  • Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord (Cloud, Console and PC) – February 14.
  • Cities: Skylines – Remastered (Cloud and Xbox Series X) – February 15.
  • Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition (Cloud, Console and PC) – February 16.
  • Atomic Heart (Cloud, Console and PC) – February 21.

And as usual, some enter… and others leave. Microsoft’s service says goodbye this month to the following videogames (some of them, like Infernax, are great games, by the way).

  • Besiege (Game Preview) (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • CrossfireX (Cloud and Console)
  • Infernax (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Recompile (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Skul: The Hero Slayer (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • The Last Kids on Earth (Cloud, Console and PC)

And in the meantime, what we’re left with is waiting to see what ads are featured in Super Bowl 2023.
