This fact led Amazon’s management to consider the possibility of pulling the episode, but ultimately, Amazon’s CEO, Andy Jassy, decided to authorize its airing after modifying the title, considering it a change to a tasteless title.

Kripke shared his experience about the decision-making process in an interview with Polygon, commenting on the anxiety that the situation generated for him as the episode director. The response was: ‘Change the title, but if it’s different enough, we’ll back it up,’ he expressed. This series, known for its critique of political reality, has found in satire a means to channel the frustrations of the current climate, providing its creator with a sense of catharsis.
