There are countless rumors about GTA6, but none seem to have any real basis. Everyone is eagerly waiting for it, but no one knows anything. This does not prevent a lot of speculation about when the game’s pre-orders or a new trailer will be released, based on the most outrageous ideas possible. This is something that the CEO of TakeTwo, the parent company of Rockstar Games, has addressed to clarify when we should know more: in the summer.
The hunting season begins in summer
Strauss Zelnick, CEO of TakeTwo, has said in an interview with Bloomberg that pre-orders for GTA 6 will open along with the game’s advertising campaign: in the summer. This means that until June 21 at the earliest, we should not expect to see a new trailer for GTA 6, as the next trailer for the game should kick off the entire advertising campaign for the game.
In addition, Zelnick has taken the opportunity to clarify some important things. Ensuring that there will be no delays, he has confirmed that the plan remains for the game to be released on November 19. Furthermore, he has confirmed that he does not know where all the rumors that have been appearing on social media over the past few weeks are coming from. Neither the phases of the moon nor pizza boxes nor pre-orders at Best Buy have any basis in reality, according to the man who knows exactly when everything is going to happen.
That said, it is possible that there will be a trailer before the official advertising campaign for the game begins. Although pre-order campaigns will still have to wait, it is possible that they decide to give a new look at the game before letting all of humanity know that the game is just around the corner. Therefore, even without conspiracies, there is no need to lose hope.
