The Developers of Palworld Have So Much Money That They Could Do Whatever They Wanted… But For Now, They Prefer to Save.

It started as the prank of the century: Pokémon but with machine guns. But after many laughs on the Internet, many began to announce the good news: Palworld was, in fact, a remarkable game. And since January of this year, its fandom has been growing as Pocketpair, its developing studio, filled their coffers. And now comes the key moment: after their first big star game, what’s next?
For the taking
To put it simply: the CEO of the studio has stated that they have done so incredibly well that their next game could go beyond AAA if they wanted to. They have earned over 70 million dollars, which is what it cost to make Watch Dogs, Gran Turismo 5, or Gears of War 3. But at Pocketpair, they are not so interested: what they want is to save in case hard times come.
Basically, the studio has stated that they do not have the necessary structure to support a game of that scale and, in truth, what interests them is not to make a large-scale game, but to play around with indie games and see where their new ideas take them. So, if you were expecting Palworld 2 to have the open world of the latest Zelda and over 150 hours of content and side missions, it’s time to lower your expectations.
