Anything related to Fortnite is a cause for joy among fans. The most played game in the world, alongside Minecraft and GTA 5 Online, has new content, and that’s always big news.
Get ready for an epic adventure as Fortnite’s current season comes to a close. Epic has officially started teasing what awaits the island in the upcoming season. From the looks of it, the overall theme, Wilds, will immerse players in a jungle-filled experience.
Here’s everything we know about Fortnite Wilds
Fortnite’s official Twitter account has released a short eight-second teaser. The word “Wilds” appears on the screen, with a jungle visible in the background. Jungle noises can be heard throughout the teaser. Just before the video ends, the following words appear on the screen: June 9, 2023.
The date featured in the teaser holds significance as it marks the expected end of Chapter 4, Season 2 (the current season). Although not much is known about the upcoming season, the trailer aligns with previous announcements that the theme will revolve around the jungle.
At the end of last week, a leaked loading screen showcased some original Fortnite characters running through the jungle alongside the Autobots’ leader, Optimus Prime.
According to Shiina, a well-known Fortnite content creator, Optimus Prime will appear in the battle pass rather than being an additional skin like Eren Yeager was this season. This makes sense as they coincide with the release of the new film, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
