Apple has released a witty ad for the second-generation AirPods Pro on its YouTube channel, featuring one of the best key features of this generation: impressive noise cancellation.

The ad itself is also quite impressive. Just one minute long and with the song “Where is my Mind?” by Tkay Maidza playing in the background, the piece flies over a city where cars, construction sites, parades and other sources of noise float in the air. Later, we know why, as the protagonist had turned on noise cancellation on her AirPods.

A very graphic representation of a key development

With a touch of humor, some really successful visual effects and, above all, managing to communicate with great force a really simple message, this is another example of Apple’s capacity for advertising.

One of the key new features of the second-generation AirPods Pro is improved noise cancellation. The new AirPods Pro offer up to twice as much active noise cancellation compared to the first generation. A substantial improvement thanks to the new chip inside each of the earphones.

They also have better audio quality – to watch out for ahead of the arrival of Apple Music Classical – longer battery life, swipe-based volume control, and an improved built-in sensor that detects skin and resumes or pauses audio playback more accurately.

None of that, but, it is told in the video, which focuses on the first point on the list and does so decisively. Other improvements, such as support for the Search network thanks to the U1 chip are also not the focus of this campaign, much less the new AirPods targets, which is all a success, because if for something these AirPods Pro 2 stand out, it is for the audio quality, even in the noisiest environments.
