The Penguin 2? Talks begin with Max about a possible second season

The DC Comics cinematic universe is beginning to take shape thanks to both James Gunn, who is doing a spectacular job with productions like Superman and Creature Commandos, and Matt Reeves, whose The Batman saga is exciting everyone. Next year, the second part of the film will start shooting, but a few months ago we were all delighted with the wonderful The Penguin, a spin-off of the original movie.

The Penguin was sold as a miniseries that served as a bridge between movies, and its narrative certainly seemed very self-contained. However, its success has been such that many have requested a second season… and now it might become a reality.

A spin-off that offers a lot

During a conversation with Zoë Kravitz (who is both Catwoman and the director of Blink Twice), Matt Reeves has acknowledged that, in addition to working on The Batman II, he is in serious talks with Max for a possible second season of The Penguin. Everything is still up in the air, but it would be incredible news for fans of this universe.
