The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival is official: it revisits the series’ darkest era

The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival is on the way. It’s a retro, single-player beat ’em up set during The Walking Dead’s All Out War era, and it’s scheduled to launch on September 18, 2026.

Odaclick Game Studio is developing it, with Trailmark Games handling publishing. You’ll play as Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, and Michonne across Alexandria, the Sanctuary, and Hilltop. The game is pulling from a stretch of the story that a lot of fans still connect to Glenn Rhee’s brutal death and the fallout after it. AMC’s The Walking Dead ended in 2022, but those events are still some of the series’ clearest defining moments.

Streets of Survival launches on September 18, 2026, and this time the focus is on replayable action, not the more narrative-heavy style earlier Walking Dead games leaned on. It’s also arriving while the franchise keeps growing through spin-offs, and after 2023’s badly received The Walking Dead: Destinies. If you’re still following this series, the $19.99 standard edition, the $29.99 deluxe edition, and the arcade-style hook make this one worth keeping an eye on.

The announcement also says there’s a free demo on Steam right now. The full game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
