There is only one way for 'Pirates of the Caribbean 6' to succeed, and Orlando Bloom knows what to do

Orlando Bloom, famous for playing Will Turner in the successful Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, has expressed his hope to reunite the original cast in a possible reboot of the saga. During his participation at Fan Expo Chicago, the British actor emphasized the importance of bringing back his old team, including Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley, to maintain the essence that made the series a global phenomenon. According to Bloom, “the way to succeed” lies in having all the actors that the audience remembers and loves back together.

A true box office bloom

Throughout the saga, Bloom and Knightley have been pillars in The Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man’s Chest, At World’s End, and Salazar’s Revenge, except for On Stranger Tides, where they did not participate. Bloom commented that he would be willing to work on a new project for a “penny,” as long as the script is appealing and everyone involved is happy.

However, the situation regarding the return of the original actors is uncertain. Although producer Jerry Bruckheimer has stated that Depp “would do it” if the script is solid, Knightley has made it clear that she has no intention of returning to major franchises due to the lack of control over her time and projects. “They are years of your life, you have no control over where you shoot, for how long, or what you are shooting”, the actress stated in a recent statement.

With the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise in the midst of a renewal process, fans are eagerly awaiting news that could define the future of the saga and the fate of its iconic characters. While there is talk of a new approach, the possibility of a return of the original cast remains a topic of great interest and speculation in the film community.
