If you were one of those who was hooked on The Acolyte on Disney Plus, we’re sorry to give you some bad news to start this Tuesday: there will be no more seasons of the Star Wars TV series.
According to information published by Deadline, Disney has canceled the production of a second season. Although one might think that this decision is influenced by the poor reviews from so many fans, the reality is that it is due to the viewership numbers.
According to the revealed information, Disney is not at all happy with the data obtained during the first season, which is why they have decided to take drastic measures.
In the past, Disney CEO Bob Iger commented that they were studying reducing the budget for Star Wars and Marvel productions to be in a better financial position. As a result, this news is not surprising either.
