This is everything we know about the new Uncharted that Naughty Dog is making

Druckmann hasn’t mentioned anything about Uncharted, but he did state that the next two The Last of Us projects are in very early stages of development, and we already know that a team led by Shaun Escayg has been working for some time on a game that has nothing to do with Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

And that’s when everyone immediately thought of a new Uncharted, especially after he showed a “reference photo” that looked very much like the kind of locations seen in the franchise; MP1st and VGC now corroborate this.

We’re sure to get a new Nathan Drake game

The former claims that it’s a new game, not a remake, and that Nathan Drake will appear in some capacity, even though fans theorize that the main protagonist of a new installment would probably be his daughter, Cassie Drake.

Of course, both things can be true at once: Cassie could star in the new game, while Nathan would still appear in a supporting role, perhaps in a way similar to what Victor Sullivan did in the earlier games. As for VGC, it didn’t provide any new details beyond corroborating MP1st’s information with its own sources.

It has been exactly ten years since Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, although Naughty Dog would later release a spin-off, Lost Legacy, in 2017. That game starred Chloe Frazer, with Nadine Ross in a secondary role. Later, it was included in the 2022 Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, together with Uncharted 4.
