Brad Winderbaum, head of Marvel TV, has noted that “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” is one of the most successful shows within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), despite receiving mixed reviews and not being renewed for a second season.

In a recent interview on the YouTube show “The Escape Pod,” Winderbaum expressed his love for the series, stating: “I would love to do more She-Hulk.” However, it doesn’t seem like this will happen in the short term.

Marvel Executive Expresses Desire for More She-Hulk Content

The series starring Tatiana Maslany premiered on Disney Plus in 2022 and, although it received a score of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes, its audience rating was at 32%, reflecting the division of opinions between critics and viewers.

In its first four days, “She-Hulk” accumulated 1.5 million viewers in the U.S., an average figure for Marvel productions.

Despite its moderate success in terms of viewership, Winderbaum emphasized that the show managed to attract a different and broader audience. “She-Hulk” follows the life of a single lawyer in her thirties who, in addition to handling legal cases, must also deal with her identity as a 6’7″ Hulk. This narrative has resonated in various ways, generating both praise and criticism.

With Marvel TV’s attention now focused on darker, more adult programs like “Daredevil: Born Again” and “Wonder Man,” the company’s direction seems to have shifted, suggesting a change in narrative and style in upcoming productions. Meanwhile, “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” remains available on Disney Plus, allowing new viewers to explore this unique interpretation of the legal superhero.
