The independent studio ProbablyMonsters has presented its upcoming title, Nekome: Nazi Hunter, a shooter that addresses World War II with a violent and personal approach. In the game, players will take control of Vano Nastasu, a young man of Romani descent, whose family is murdered by Nazi soldiers, triggering his quest for revenge. Unlike other games in the genre, which often narrate the conflict from a heroic and epic perspective, Nekome: Nazi Hunter promises to explore the deep psychological implications of violence as the protagonist transforms into an unrelenting hunter.
Massacre Nazis as if your life depended on it
The game is distinguished by its focus on the combination of melee action and stealth, moving away from the typical shooting of other shooters of the era. This decision aligns with the studio’s intention to portray an emotional and psychological evolution of Nastasu, who will find himself immersed in a world of brutal executions and unrestrained violence. Despite its dark theme, the graphic design features a cartoon style reminiscent of titles like Fortnite, creating a surprising contrast between the aesthetics and the narrative of the game.
Although a release date and the platforms on which it will be available have not yet been confirmed, ProbablyMonsters has invited those interested to attend the Game Developers Conference 2026, which will be held in San Francisco from March 9 to 13. During the event, the studio plans to reveal extended gameplay and offer a behind-the-scenes look at the development. For now, the future of Nekome: Nazi Hunter remains shrouded in mystery, generating anticipation among video game fans.
