Tom Holland is already thinking about retiring as Spider-Man. There is only one condition to do it his way

It has been ten years since Tom Holland first donned the Spider-man mask in Captain America: Civil War, and he has already participated in 7 Marvel movies, including the upcoming Brand New Day, the fourth solo adventure of the Wall-Crawler. However, at 29 years old, he knows he can’t do it forever, and, as hard as it is for us to believe, he is already considering what the next step will be. And he is very clear about it.

Climbing to Success

In fact, he has already warned that not everything lasts forever: “For whoever comes next, whether it’s Miles Morales or Spider-Gwen or a Spider-Woman or something like that, I would love to be part of the presentation of the next chapter. Whatever it is, I don’t know. But if I could do what Robert Downey Jr. did for me, I would be happy swinging into the sunset. Of course, as if Marvel would let you go that easily, Tom.

In fact, Holland wants more creative control over the character, and the main idea for this new movie is, in fact, his: “My idea when I came to the table was called Spider-Puberty. What if Peter Parker loses control and things are changing? Spider-Puberty was the slogan I gave to the studio, which they immediately rejected. But they liked the core of the idea, and it grew into what we have now in the movie.”

On July 31, we will see if Spidey still has box office strength even without Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield by his side. Although something tells me that, considering the super-events coming in the next few years, they haven’t gone very far
