The wait is over! Disney has released the trailer for the next Pixar movie, “Elemental”, an impossible love story where the main characters, Ember and Wade, seem to have nothing in common (in fact, they are water and fire).

In Element City, where the story takes place, live creatures from the four elements: water, fire, earth and air. In the trailer, we see how Ember leaves his comfort zone (Firetown, his hometown) to explore this new world born from Pixar’s imagination.

Elemental City is inspired by great cities around the world and shows us what it means to be of every element: giant buildings in the shape of pine trees, skyscrapers that are skyscrapers and even a stadium in the shape of a cyclone.

This new Pixar proposal is directed by Peter Sohn (Arlo’s Journey) and is inspired by the director’s own experiences. As Sohn explains, his parents emigrated from Korea to the Bronx, located in New York, where they set up a grocery store. The different cultures, languages and the atmosphere of the place is what would lead him to the concept of “Elemental”.

If we take a look at the cast, we will find names like Leah Lewis (Nancy Drew), the voice of Amber or Mamoudou Athie (Jurassic World: Dominion), the voice of Wade. However, you have to take into account that the Spanish version of “Elemental” comes somewhat changed: the main characters change their names to Candela (Amber) and Nilo (Wade).
