Discover Disney's new big movie

Throughout history, Walt Disney Studios has been synonymous with animation. When children thought of animated movies, they thought of Disney, and when they played as their favorite characters they thought of the studio’s heroes and princesses. However, this has changed quite a bit in recent years, and even though it has Marvel and Star Wars as its trump cards, its power in animation is not the same as it once was.
To alleviate this situation, Disney is releasing this year the film it considers an ace up its sleeve: Wish. It is a feature film that seeks to make up for such flops as Lightyear and Strange World, and instead of going straight to Disney Plus, it will try its luck at the box office. Wish wants to repeat the Frozen trailer, and the first trailer just released makes it clear that the tone is very similar:
A timeless story
In the trailer we see Disney’s supremacy: it is sold as the studio behind The Lion King, Frozen and Vaiana, and the film has, a priori, all the ingredients to be one of its great timeless successes. In addition, it uses the Spider-Man: A New Universe animation technique, so it looks like it will be adapted to the present day.

The story centers on Asha, a witty teenager who is always worried about her family and friends. In a moment of decay, Asha makes a wish to the stars and they respond with a small ball of unlimited energy called Star. Together they will embark on a great adventure as they must face a kingdom that traps the wishes of all people.
The film will be released on November 22nd. It seems like a long way off, but it will certainly be a key date for Disney’s 100th anniversary to live up to the studio that Walt created.
