If you’re a regular on Twitch, you probably know the name Kai Cenat. The streamer has become one of the most popular in the world (his 200,000 subscribers attest to that). However, he has now become news for quite a different reason: the recent blocking of his channel by Twitch.
Kai Cenat was banned on April 17, a situation that left his fans quite upset. Several theories began to circulate on social networks, some of them even insinuating that he was preparing his “move” to Kick. However, these were not the real reasons for the “elimination” of his channel.
Why has Kai Cenat been banned from Twitch?
The Dexerto website managed to talk to sources close to Twitch to find out what was the exact reason for the veto of Kai Cenat. The reason? The “repetition of simulated explicit sexual activities within GTA“. At the moment, the ban would be temporary, but it has also not been made clear how long he would remain off Twitch.
Kai Cenat has managed to gather thousands of viewers on Twitch thanks to his varied and dynamic content. In his live streams we can see him playing games, talking to celebrities like Ice Spice or even being attacked by a dog (we can’t deny the variety).
However, neither his fame nor his subscribers have allowed Kai Cenat to escape Twitch’s policies, which strictly prohibit sexual or “suggestive” content. Cenat has not been the only one to suffer this type of ban on Twitch: Aydan, Clix or Adin Ross are some of the names that have also been affected by similar bans.
