Ubisoft apologizes for the Star Wars Outlaws bug that has the community angry (and rightfully so)

Ubisoft has had to apologize for a very important bug that Star Wars Outlaws is experiencing. The error in question is the worst one that a video game can suffer: the saved game is completely deleted.

To be exact, this error is happening to PlayStation 5 players who have had early access to the game thanks to buying the most expensive edition. The reason is simple: the new version (1.000.002) is incompatible with previously saved games, causing the file to become corrupted.

Ubisoft has issued a statement in which they “apologize for any inconvenience caused.” However, they do not provide any solution to the issue other than suggesting that “a new game be started to avoid problems and blockages.”

If you are one of those affected, we regret to inform you that you have lost all progress and all hours played. This is a mistreatment of the player, especially considering that it is the most expensive version. You can read our review of Star Wars Outlaws here.
