Twitter has finally brought its video social network to Windows Phone after teasing the app for months. The company first announced that Vine would be coming to Windows Phone back in July of this year during Microsoft’s BUILD conference. It then showed off the app at a Nokia event in mid-October. Now Windows Phone users can finally download, shoot, and share their six second videos on Vine.

The Windows Phone version of Vine works exactly as it does on other platforms, with tabs for discovering Vines, accessing your profile, checking your notifications, and viewing your feed. One difference is that the Windows Phone version is able to use the operating system’s “lenses,” which allows users to access features from the Windows Phone camera for shooting video in Vine.

Vine is the latest high profile application to come to Windows Phone, helping to bolster its app ecosystem. Popular apps like Flipboard and Instagram for Windows Phone have been announced but there’s no word on when they’ll arrive. Facebook announced Instagram would be coming to Windows Phone but there’s no release date for either app yet.
