Are you a fan of fighting games? In just two weeks, we will have with us the new installment of one of the best fighting sagas of all time: Mortal Kombat 12. The next title in the saga that popularized the final moves in fights, the fatalities, returns from the hand of Netherealm Studios, in collaboration with Brawling, and promises to give us many hours of action and blood everywhere.

On the other hand, another fighting saga beloved by fans, Tekken, will also return in a few months with Tekken 8. Among the fighters we will be able to control, we will again have Nina Williams, who has been completely redesigned in this new installment and presents a stunning ball gown, dressed in heels, dark sunglasses and a leather jacket.

But you’re probably wondering why we’re mentioning both fighting games. Quite simply: because the stars have aligned for those who enjoy fighting games, and the creators of Mortal Kombat and Tekken recently had a brief chat on Twitter, where they talked about their favorite fighters in these popular sagas.

Katsuhiro Harada, the producer and director of the Tekken saga, quoted a fan who asked him for his favorite fighter in Mortal Kombat. “Favorite Mortal Kombat character? Raiden, of course. On the other hand, is there any Mortal Kombat fan who doesn’t like Raiden? If there is such a person, it’s like saying, ‘I love hamburgers, but I hate meat and vegetables, so I only eat buns,'” he replied.

Another user echoed the response, quoting Ed Boon, the co-creator of the Mortal Kombat franchise, who responded in a much briefer and more forceful way: “Hwoarang, of course!”. While it’s true that interactions between video game developers are not uncommon in the video game industry, it’s always nice to see the creators of such renowned franchises talk about the characters of other video games of the same category.
