September 26th sees the release of Train Simulator 2014 for Windows. You will be able to buy it of course, but if you own an earlier version, you will get the 2014 update free!
Train Simulator 2014 has better graphics, nicer interfaces and some performance improvements to make the simulator as realistic as developer Railsimulator.com can manage. Draw distances have been increased, so you’ll get better views around the environments, there are new effects like headlight flare and new camera systems too. Watch the first look video below.

We’ll have to wait until September to see if this is true. It will be available in shops and through Steam.
