The official PlayStation account has surprised everyone in the middle of the Spanish siesta by announcing that the highly anticipated conference will take place on Wednesday, May 24th at 10 PM (Spanish time).

What is PlayStation Showcase

First of all, what is the Showcase? It is the name given to PlayStation’s conferences. Just like Nintendo has its Nintendo Direct and Xbox has its Xbox Games Showcase, Sony also has its own.

This prerecorded video format, exclusively streamed on social media and streaming platforms, has replaced the live events with stages and audiences, where the excitement was in seeing if everything went well… or not.

What to expect from the PlayStation Showcase
