Next week we will see for the first time this Indiana Jones game after years of silence. All we have had so far have been vague news from Todd Howard, head of Bethesda, a brief trailer and nothing else.

However, rumors suggest that the game could be released this year and we are about to learn a lot of details in the upcoming Xbox Direct.

That being said, fans can’t wait any longer and have started searching for information. Obviously, everything is under lock and key, but some insiders have been able to unveil the title of the highly anticipated game. Or so they believe, based on a new trademark.

On January 18th we will find out

According to Twitter user Kurakasis, Lucasfilm has registered domains and trademarks for a game called Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which suggests that will be the title of the game.

Sometimes several domain names are registered before an official title is decided, but this seems to be the only one that has been discovered so far and, to be honest, it sounds like an Indiana Jones title.

At the moment, we have no idea if the game will be faithful to the movies, if Harrison Ford’s image will be used or if there will be any direct connection to other Indy stories.

In any case, the title seems to suggest a story we’ve never heard of in the Indiana Jones myth. Only time will tell if it’s good, but MachineGames is one of the best developers out there and it will be a worthy title for Xbox Game Pass.

And, as if all this were not enough, we can assure (for the younger readers) that LucasArts graphic adventures from the 90s were among the best of their time, games on par with the movies.
