Facebook has loads of secrets that most of us don’t know about – one of them being this mini board game that is sure to help you pass the time.

In order to start it up, introduce the command while you’re chatting with one of your friends “@fbchess play” (without the speech marks). You’ll then be greeted with this chess board on which you can play on!

But pay attention, because this secret game isn’t for the impatient: to our disappointment, you can’t just drag the pieces directly on the screen. In order to move them, you must type in one of the commands (that appear on the list when you type “fbchess help”).

Now you’ll have another excuse to spend hours on Facebook!
