For that reason many people are wondering… what is Barack Obama doing in Barcelona? Several people have seen the politician walking around Barcelona and there is a totally logical answer for him to be in our country this week.

The answer is the Bruce Springsteen concert

The former President of the United States, Barack Obama, has traveled to Barcelona to attend the concert of the famous musician Bruce Springsteen, which will take place this Friday and Sunday in the Catalan city.

Obama is expected to enjoy the U.S. artist’s performance from a VIP box at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, where the event will be held.

Obama’s visit has generated great expectation in the city and among Springsteen’s fans, who expect the former president to make a brief appearance on stage with the musician.

For those who don’t know, Bruce and Obama are close friends.

If you’re a fan of either of them, you probably know that both the former president and the New Jersey singer get along famously. Over the years the artist has performed at campaign events and at his appointments as president.

On Obama’s side, he has given her several national awards, such as the Medal of Freedom and the honor of being part of the Kennedy Art Awards. As you can see, they get along quite well.

They even launched a podcast called Renegades: Born in the USA. In it, President Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen talk about their lives, their music and their endless love for the United States, despite all its challenges.

What Obama can do in Barcelona

While the former president of the United States certainly has a good team of advisors, we can’t help but advise him to visit a few locations in Barcelona.
