Jim Henson passed away at the age of 54, a very young age to die (you’re never old enough to die, they say) and behind him he left an incredible legacy. A gift to the world in the form of series, shows and movies.

What would Jim Henson look like in 2023? We asked the AI

For those who don’t know him, Jim Henson was a famous American puppeteer, television and film producer, actor and director. The pity is that he passed away in 1990, 33 years ago…

Jim Henson is remembered for being the creator of the Muppets, a brilliant series with a cast of main characters (all hand and string operated dolls) that includes iconic characters such as Kermit the Frog, Peggy the Piggy, the Cookie Monster and many more.

But his legacy does not end there. The creator is also responsible for such international hits as The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, The Muppet Movie and the series The Dark Crystal (you have it on Netflix).

Henson also pioneered the use of electronic puppet technology, which allowed the puppets to move more realistically and expressively. In addition, he was an advocate for children’s education and inclusion, and his television shows and films reflect these values.

But we are not here just to talk about his work, although it is impossible not to when he has been such an influential character in our lives. We are here to see what Jim would be like in 2023, at the age of 87.

For this we have asked artificial intelligence. In case you are wondering, the first picture is Stable Diffusion and the second one is of DALL-E (that’s why it’s more of a cartoon than the first one). If you want to see an old Freddie Mercury click here.

Despite his untimely death, Jim Henson has left a lasting legacy in popular culture. His work with the Muppets has inspired generations of children and adults, and his focus on creativity, innovation and inclusion continues to inspire many.
