It’s the game that everyone wants to have tomorrow on their console. Specifically on their Nintendo Switch. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is, according to critics, the best title so far this year.

After six long years of waiting since the release of the great Zelda: Breath of the Wild, players are about to end the suffering of not being able to play its sequel.

Or, at least, gamers who have been patient enough to avoid playing the leaked version on the internet and that Nintendo didn’t like so much, which is logical, on the other hand.

When will it be possible to play the new Zelda?

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will arrive on May 12 and Nintendo has revealed the exact release date a few minutes ago.

You will be able to start playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom at 12am ET on May 12. If you don’t know what time it is, we leave you a guide with the time around the world:

  • Spain: 6:00 am on May 12th
  • England: 5:00 am on May 12th
  • Brazil: 1:00 am on May 12th
  • New York: 12:00 am on May 12th
  • Mexico: 10:00 pm on May 11th

This launch time is not a big surprise, as that’s the time Nintendo usually adds games to the Switch eShop.

By the way, if you have already purchased The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on the eShop, you can start downloading it now to be ready when the clock strikes 6:00 a.m. in Spain or 12:00 am on May 12 at your home in New York.
