Since the release of the first installment in 2014, Keanu Reeves and his character John Wick have established a bond that has managed to captivate action movie fans. His popularity is such that the character has crossed the barriers of fiction and has become a cultural icon.
This fourth installment comes to give fans of the saga what they want and people can’t wait to see it already. As of today, it is the highest rated movie of the whole saga. On Rotten Tomatoes it has achieved a score of 95%, so we have no doubt that we are facing another great success of John Wick.
The story written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch will show us the culmination of John Wick’s revenge against the High Table. This time, the setting changes and we will be straddling Japan and Europe. The King of Bowery (Laurence Fishburne) will help John to face a new villain: Marquis Vincent de Gramont (Bill Skarsgård).
In this installment we will also see Lance Reddick, who died of natural causes last March 17 at the age of 60. Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski released a joint statement remembering Reddick and dedicating the film to his memory.
Where can I watch John Wick 4?
John Wick will be released in theaters today, March 24, so you know: reserve a seat in your favorite movie theater and enjoy the action, it won’t be on digital platforms for now, but it won’t take too long to arrive. However, you can watch the previous installments on some services.
If you are an HBO Max subscriber, you are in luck: the platform has all the installments available, from the first one to Parabellum. Movistar + and Amazon Prime Video also have several of the films in the saga, but not in full: Movistar + has John Wick and John Wick 3, Amazon Prime Video has John Wick 2 and John Wick 3.
