We have learned this information thanks to the publication of the official file of the emulator on Steam. In this, the text that appears speaks of the benefits of Dolphin as an emulator: possibility of 4K resolution, controls adapted to modern controllers, improved textures as far as possible, sound, access to saved games more easily, increase or decrease the speed of the game, etc..

Given this announcement, the next question that many people are asking in networks is simple: but is Dolphin legal? And we will never tire of repeating the answer: emulators are completely legal. In this sense, the creators of Dolphin make it clear: “This is just a tool to run legally obtained copies of the games. Once you have dumpeted the copies of your games in a compatible format, you can run them directly in the emulator”.

In this sense, from the development group they have also given a vital news: Dolphin Emulator will be fully compatible with Steam Deck. If you already have Valve’s handheld, you will know that it has been possible to run this emulator for some time, but now with Dolphin it will be available from the Steam store itself. In addition, it will also incorporate cloud storage for our game saves.
