If you’re in the Windows Insider Program and are using the Windows 10 Technical Preview, there’s a new update which introduces new features.

You’ll get the update automatically, downloaded while your PC is sleeping, but you can also get it manually by going to PC Settings, Update and Recovery.

Here are the new features:

– Hide the Search and Task View buttons on the task bar

– New minimize and restore animations (users complained about the originals)

– Modern Apps get new Charms/full screen buttons – three lines instead of three dots, to be easier to see

– New three-finger gestures for touchscreens and ‘precision touchpads’

– One Drive sync improved – now files you see in File Explorer will always be available online or off.

– Internet Explorer improvements – MKV support, and a new simple feedback button (smiley or sad face)

– Various bug fixes

There will be lots more new features and changes while the Windows 10 Technical Preview is available, until April 15th. After that, you’ll have to stop using it and return to your old version of Windows (unless Windows 10 is released immediately, which is not expected).
