Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember gets a release date and a demo to go with it

Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, the long-awaited sequel to Wo Long, Team Ninja’s game that took the Nioh formula and brought it to a style closer to wuxia films or Chinese martial arts, has received a release date. Set for March 4 next year, we’ll have to wait just under six months to enjoy the nonstop action Team Ninja is known for.

An acrobatic and fast-paced game

But we’ll be able to try a bit of it starting today. Because they’ve made a demo of the game available so all the changes they’ve made compared to the first entry in the franchise can be tested. Adding some new mechanics and continuing the story of the original, set in the Three Kingdoms era, the game promises an acrobatic combat style with total freedom of movement inspired both by the previous game and by its recent Nioh 3.

But if you want to try it, hurry. The demo will be available only until September 30, on both PlayStation 5 and PC. So you have no excuse not to try what promises to be one of the games that’s going to generate the most buzz in 2027.
