Wuthering Waves adds Lucilla in Version 3.4: banner now live

Lucilla is now playable in Wuthering Waves. She joined the roster as a 5-star Resonator in Version 3.4 on June 13, 2026, when her banner, “Tomorrow in the Frame,” went live, according to Kuro Games.

She showed up only a few days after Wuthering Waves Version 3.4, “The Dream Not Dreamed,” launched on June 8, also per Kuro Games. Lucilla is a 5-star Glacio Rectifier, and her signature 5-star weapon, Freeze Frame, is running alongside her on a separate limited-time weapon banner.

Her kit leans more toward sub-DPS and support, mainly because of her “Glacio Chafe” and “Echo” modes. So if you’re after tighter team synergy rather than a simple on-field carry, she’s a banner to think about.

She looks even better if you’ve already invested in Hiyuki. A lot of community discussion has treated Glacio Chafe as one of the key pieces for pushing that team’s damage higher.

Player reaction, though, hasn’t been all one way. Some people aren’t sold on whether Lucilla’s live gameplay feels as exciting as the flashier characters Wuthering Waves has released lately. In the story, she matters a lot too, since Lucilla is the President of the Startorch Academy. She’s also landing in a crowded patch, with the permanent Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover bringing in Night City, Lucy, and Rebecca, plus player-reported mobile performance issues.
