Capture high-quality screenshots and clips
If you want to take crisp screenshots and recordings, look no further than Ashampoo Snap 11 — a premium screen-capturing program from software developer Ashampoo. With an all-new user interface, high-quality tool icons, and readable tool names, this application promises easy, no-fuss access to everything in its arsenal.
Ashampoo Snap 11 also comes with smart features that contribute to seamless usage, such as auto-numbering and time delay. The application boasts optical character recognition, as well, though it only supports seven languages. If you want to give this software a try, you can download its free 30-day trial on its official website.
Explore many of its features
Whether you’re recording your screen to help troubleshoot issues, or taking screenshots of websites, Ashampoo Snap 11 will take care of all your screen-capturing needs. With a host of photo-editing tools at your disposal, you can draw arrows, add text and numbers, highlight a part of an image, blur sensitive information, and many more. The software is also ideal if you want to provide training videos or hold live lectures.
This is because it comes packed with all the essential features for video capturing and editing. While recording your screen, for example, you have the freedom to toggle options — such as “Show Mouse Cursor” and “Show Webcam” — create arrows and lines, add a watermark, and the like, so you spend less time post-processing your work. After a clip is saved, the program will take you to its video editor.
The editor itself is beginner-friendly, with functions ranging from trimming to saving recordings as GIFs. Best of all, the application supports photo and video sharing on Facebook, Google Drive, and other cloud-based platforms and social media websites for storage or public viewing. Unfortunately, the Capture Bar at the top of the screen is more of a nuisance than a benefit since users may accidentally click it.
A program worth investing in
Overall, Ashampoo Snap 11 is a comprehensive tool teeming with practical features for a variety of screen-capturing needs, such as image blurring, video trimming, and auto-numbering, to name a few. Plus, its user-friendly interface — complete with clear icons and readable text — ensures that every tool is easily accessible and recognized by all users. One major drawback of this software is the risk of accidental clicking due to the Capture Bar.

The software is heavy, the minimum requirements are badly wrong!.
The official software requirements are very below of true requirements to record an framed video at HQ (854x480) quality, and even with on-the-fly or cache options, it cuts or delays the job, destroying your work. Even using an dedicated video card, with a good amount of RAM, at 2.8 GHz processor clock, you can not use this app with confidence. I bought the 6 and 8 versions, following the official requirements, and was a total spent of money, and a deception with support of Ashampoo. More

How do you get video capture to work?.
I purchased this software so i could make personal music compilations by recording my favourite artists from obscure rare dvd's... however Ashampoo Snap 4 wont record anything from my pc dvd player or youtube files, thought maybe my copy was faulty, so uninstalled it then reinstalled it... but to no avail... looked at help/faq's however just says if you have difficulty capturing video then try another codec... tried all, and still no joy??? ...anyone got any tips, as would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Pros:
Capture's still screenshots no probs, but why bother, when you can do this same function by using the print screen tab and saving to paint... which is free.
Cons:
Video capture wont work, tried every codec setting available, but just constant black void screens... totally frustrating. More

Very disappointed.
Not much.
After having paid for it, downloaded it, installed it my computer crashed as it had never crashed before.
>I was unable to reboot and using Safe Mode I did a system restore and uninstalled the program. That did not do any good!
As last resource I reinstalled Windows.
Please return my money.
I have always been happy with the products I have bought from you but this one was garbage as far as I am concerned. More

Snap is a Snap.
I've used several screen capture programs and like Snap the best of them all. Once I configured it to me my needs, I find it very easy to use. I especially appreciate having the ability to capture video and have used it to create tutorials in my work.
Pros:
Ease of Use
The fact that hides in the background until needed
The variety of options available
Cons:
It would be helpful to be able to capture longer video in smaller file sizes - or to have options as to which codec to use to capture video. More

moving in the right direction.
the product is reasonable but so far I have not been able to create a really good professional demonstration. The finished product has very low graphics, and if you are trying to make an Excel demo the figures and text are quite out of focus quite disappointed with this really. But I will continue with the software to see if it can overcome the poor graphics etc of the finished article.
Pros:
quite easy to use when you get your head round it
Cons:
poor graphics especially text and numbers. More
