Recover deleted photos from your Android device
DiskDigger undelete / recover can recover deleted photos from your Android smartphone or tablet. This free version supports the two most popular photo formats: JPG and PNG.
Using the app is simple: choose the folder to be scanned and click on 'Scan device'. At this point, you'll see a list of images that can be recovered and are available to preview, including size and resolution details.
The photos can be restored locally or sent via e-mail. DiskDigger requires you to have root permissions to work properly.
Differences compared to the Pro version
The free version of DiskDigger undelete / recover offers fewer features than the paid-for Pro version.
The latter can retrieves a larger variety of photo formats (TIFF, CR2, SR2, NEF, DCR, PEF, DNG, ORF), as well as MP3 and WAV audio files, MP4 videos, ZIP archives and Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, among others.
DiskDigger undelete / recover also includes the ability to upload recovered files to an FTP server and offers the best feature - a preview.
