EasyComic is a free app that allows users to create comics quickly and simply. You can choose a panel layout fro ma set of templates, or create your own layout; you can also use either ready-made character drawings or create your own using the app's drawing tools. Then, type in some speech balloons and you will have a complete story ready to be exported. EasyComic is particularly suited to younger users, and can be used in educational contexts.
EasyComic is a free and vector-based comic creation software, which gives you the power and flexibility to easily create professional-quality comics, manga, cartoons and illustrations, even if you are a beginner.
We provide abundant comic templates for you. You can make favourite shapes as tempaltes, and also obtain the new templates online. Several color tables are provided, and you can choose any color quickly. All the shapes (even lines) can be filled with gradient-color (linear, radial, or conical). A lot of photoes saved in your computer, can be directly draged into the comic file.

A basic program that is undergoing development..
You can only install the latest version of EasyComic, which is currently 1.8. You cannot import images. You cannot easily draw free-hand. There are not many template images available. There is no tutorial or user manual.
Pros:
It is fairly easy to use and is free of charge.
Shows promise since additional features are being added with each version update.
Cons:
More templates and the ability to import images needs to be added. Need to register via email before access code is sent.
