After using the computer for a while, one day you suddenly realize there are only a few MB left in your hard drive. Now, where did all that space go?

A quick, easy way to find out is FolderSize. This simple tool analyzes your hard drive – or any folder you specify – and displays a colored graphic representing how all the space in your hard drive is distributed across the folder structure. In this way you can clearly see which folder is the largest one or how much space your music, photos or documents take.

FolderSize has a few positive aspects. It doesn't require installation, produces almost immediate scans and can display results in size or number of files. On the downside, you need to manually enter the path of the folder you want to scan, and you can't browse the chart.
