Author's review

Fret Fun is an interactive game that helps you learn the note names for the guitar and get you on your way to reading music. It's very simple and fun to play. Each game presents a random selection of 20 notes, displayed one at a time, and you will be asked to identify where it lives on the guitar by selecting its name, string number and fret number. If you entered the right answer, you can advance to the next selection by clicking 'Next'.

If you're answer was incorrect, you have the option of entering another answer ('Try Again') or skipping to the next note ('Next'). You get points for correct answers (five points for first try answers or 2.5 points for second try answers) and at the end of the game your score is expressed as a percentage. Any notes you missed are then displayed for review.
