iPod Media Studio for Windows

You can take any movie from DVD, but also recorded TV-material, or home movies from your DV-camcorder or digital still camera, and with two clicks convert those into a small file, which is optimized for playback with the iPod built-in video player.

This allows you to enjoy movies with an amazingly sharp picture and stereo CD-quality sound, and in less than 45 minutes you can put a full DVD on your iPod. The ideal solution for frequent travellers or to keep the kids happy in the back of the car, you can store up to 100 hours of video (60 Gb model) or 50 hours (30 Gb model) of feature films, TV etc.

Foreign languages, subtitles and Dolby surround sound are all supported and there is no need to have QuickTime Pro installed. The software will automatically zoom and crop 16:9 widescreen movies to fit on the 4:3 iPod screen. But you may manually choose to turn that feature off.
