Test the integrity of your MP3's

MP3 Tester is an automatic tester that informs you about the state of your MP3 collection so you can order, arrange and equalise them as you like. For example, you can specify the maximum and minimum bit rate and the program warns you if any of the values are exceeded.

Usually, this means you can equalise bitrates to the standard size of 128Kbps or 192Kbps. It can also detect if a file has finished suddenly, is incomplete, or does not contain the correct ID3 information (album, artist, title) and make verifications on the structure of the MP3.

Note that this test version only allows to make two types of verifications simultaneously and only analyzes 70% of the MP3 that you scan. This is a very useful program for those of you that are sick of irregular sounding MP3's but it can take a while to process your files.

How many times have you burned a CD with MP3 files only later to find that some of those files are bad? You're stuck with a CD with low quality, clicking or partial songs. How annoying! Too bad you didn't have the time to listen to all of the songs before you burned the CD.

With MP3 Tester you can test the quality and integrity of your files before burning. You can, ensure bit rate, sample rates and file sizes are within the range you want so that you'll have no more annoying irregularities in your MP3 collection.
