Keep your hard drive in optimum condition

Keeping your computer in top condition should be high on everyone's list of priorities. There are various ways to achieve this, and one of them is defragging. There's already a tool built into Windows, but some people want a little more control and options and choose to download a separate application.

One such tool is mst Defrag. It’s a simple application that's made even easier to use by the inclusion of a wizard which takes you through the most important set-up steps. When you do this you'll see that it features live monitoring and a start-up defrag option, both of which are handy tools. Obviously mst Defrag also defragments your computer, and features several functions to investigate the drives in question, the fragmentation itself, and the results.

As defraggers go, mst Defrag isn't bad at all. It's easy to install and use, and has some extra features that don't always come as standard. Even so, it's a little lackluster, and really doesn't stand out from the competition. Even though mst Defrag is more than adequate and performs its job perfectly, there's still not much to get excited about.

A solid - if uninspiring - defrag tool.
