This tool is designed and made for one single purpose - to give you the average download speed of given web page. The tool will do only one thing for you - download the target page as many times as you want and give you the estimated average speed.

Note that the results are relative - never use them as a basis for serious conclusion, especially when testing remote, live sites. Because of the nature of the internet, no test can guarantee you will get the exact right result.

The tool downloads only the code for the front page, not additional files like images, css or js scripts. The tool simulates browser behavior - downloading the text of page, but not downloading images and other objects.
