Prevent RSI and other injuries in front of your PC

Working long hours in front of the computer can end up causing all manner of injuries and illnesses. Good lighting, the correct working position and taking breaks are all very important in maintaining your health. However, it's not always easy to remember all this when you are engrossed in work.

TakeYourBreak is designed to remind you when you need to take breaks and how to design your working environment for best results. It tells you when you need to get up and walk around, stretch your legs or just take a coffee and thus avoid problems such as neck pain, tendinitis or RSI.

Their diverse configuration options allow you to choose the time interval that you want to take between rests which you can tweak until you feel you've got it right. If you work at home or don't have colleagues around you to take a coffee with, this is a really useful application although once you've established a rhythm, you'll find the warnings annoying.

TakeYourBreak is ergonomic software, or break reminder software, designed to prevent or minimize Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) and other computer related health problems.

It has a friendly interface and a tray icon status indicator. It runs quietly in the background, monitoring your activity and reminding you to take regular breaks. Stay healthy and injury free with TakeYourBreak

Great tool for forcing one to take breaks..
Great break tool- it works and can be set over different times, interrupt modes (screen saver etc.), and audio.
I prefer to have sound turned off.
