WinSettings Pro is a complete toolbox that helps you clean, fix and optimize your system to keep it in perfect shape.
WinSettings Pro works in several areas: you can use it to uninstall applications you no longer use, clean web browsing traces, remove redundant programs from system start-up, fix file associations, tweak Registry settings and even customize particular elements in Windows.
These areas are listed on the left side of the program’s interface in a drop-down structure. When you click any of them, WinSettings Pro will display a bunch of tools and options in the main window pane. These tools are also available from its icon on the system tray. Any changes made with WinSettings Pro can be easily rolled back in case something goes wrong.
WinSettings Pro can be a handy tool, but it has also a few flaws. Most of the tools are not properly explained, which means you have to check the program’s documentation quite often. Also, some changes require a system startup – though the program doesn’t really warn you about it.
