Pros: Elegant Cocoa interface. Simple to use but powerful. Excellent search and replace feature. Lots of plugins.

Cons: Can be slow on startup. Spell-checker inconsistent.

Pros: Slick animations. Access to loads of original web apps. Uses up little memory.

Cons: Some errors still when installing.

Pros: Free to use. Opens Microsoft Office documents including Word and Excel. Includes a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation manager, and drawing program. Good alternative to Microsoft Office.

Cons: Slow at opening documents and can be unresponsive sometimes. Too many buttons and settings. Based mainly on Java.
