    PROS: Quick and easy design process. Simple to use. Wide selection of furniture to choose from. Plans can be printed directly from the app.
    CONS: No ability to share your plans directly from the app. Getting to know your way around can take some time. Application requires a lot of resources. Can slow down system speed.
  2. PROS: Offers incredibly high image resolution. Up to 40 images can be combined. TIF, JPG and RAW image formats are supported. A relatively low amount of memory is needed.
    CONS: Other image codecs are not recognized. Only two exposure settings are offered. Pictures must be overlapped between 30 and 50 percent. More than one panorama may accidentally be created.

    CONS: Not all sketching tools are available in the free version. Limited options to increase brush size. The imported photos cannot be moved. The wet look can’t be exported.
  5. PROS: Easy to use. Very streamlined UI. Truly multi-platform. Free tool, and no ads.
    CONS: Doesn’t directly open images. Does not work with AI files. Doesn’t support quite a few popular image formats. Not as robust as industry standard tools.
  6. PROS: Supports large layouts of 10km x 10km. Display options include 3D rendering. Image exporting with support for all main formats. Frequent additions through software updates.
    CONS: Can be intimidating for new users. Buildings library is smaller than some rivals. User interface does not explain some elements. The 3D rendering is fairly simplistic.
  7. PROS: Huge collection of different font types. Fonts are available for both personal and commercial use. Includes font preview app. Uses cross-platform compatible OpenType format.
    CONS: Cumbersome download process to actually install desired fonts. Quality of included fonts varies. Extra fonts locked behind registration wall. Could do with better searching and filtering options.

    CONS: May be too simplistic for some needs. Not as powerful as other tools on the market. Lacks support for image stretching. Icons all follow same basic design principles.
  9. PROS: A focus on simplicity streamlines drawing to basic elements. Many file types from PSD to PDF are supported. Simple, intuitive user interface. Includes basic image editing tools in addition to drawing tools.
    CONS: Free, open source alternatives offer similar features. Its simplicity also means it lacks depth in more advanced features. Does little to distinguish itself from multiple competitors. The same features are included in more advanced image editing software.

    CONS: Understanding the tagging system can be challenging at first. Lacking some advanced features. Capturing web pages can be difficult. No ability to import pictures from similar software.

    CONS: Initial set up procedures can be complicated. CSV file creation can be tricky. No CSV file validation option. Limited OS support.

    CONS: A bit slower compared to iTunes. Doesn’t completely replace iTunes. Images are read-only, or cannot be modified. No Help file.
  14. PROS: Users can select from a number of unique borders. Not much hard drive memory is required. The dashboard controls are perfectly suited for novices. Up to nine photos can be included within a single collage.
    CONS: Some claim that the interface can crash on occasion. Photos may be distorted when placed within a collage. The sharing option is faulty. This app cannot work with multiple image folders simultaneously.
  15. PROS: There are nearly 300 custom templates to choose from. One account supports multiple devices. All templates are backed up within the cloud. It is possible to perform basic editing options within the templates themselves.
    CONS: A significant amount of memory (415.4 megabytes) is needed. The application may freeze during installation. No advanced editing features are available. It is not possible to upload personalised or third-party templates.
  16. PROS: High customisation; change anything from colours to blur effects. Screenshots can be exported to PNG or JPG format. Small price is highly preferable to hiring an expensive professional. Save your user settings as a template for later.
    CONS: Only for mobile devices; not available for desktop. Some may prefer to pay for professional service if they don't have time or patience. Price only worth it if you're passionate about creating your own material. Takes some concentration to get the hang of each setting.

    CONS: It’s from 2015, and not updated since 2016. Some users found developer description misleading. Icons cannot be combined/edited in-programme. Will not include icons for brand new programmes.
